Start Time: 8:30 AM
Cost: Kid’s Fun Run - $15.00 Field Limit – 100
Age Requirement : 12 Years of Age and younger. Children can be accompanied by a parent if they need assistance.

Course: The Fun Run course starts on the warning track in the ballpark and runs around the warning track once finishing near home plate.

"This was the best 5K I have run - the stadium was filled with excitement with the mascots cheering on the participants and the music playing in the background. The awarding of the prizes continued the excitement with a great announcer and music in the background. The post race snacks were good and the right amount. Great Race!!! Looking forward to next year!!"

Awards Ceremony – Immediately following the 5K run the awards ceremony will take place on the upper level of the stadium concourse.

  • Fun Run – Medals for top two male and female finishers.
  • 5K and 10K - Prizes for 1st overall male and female runners and Master’s Category (40 and over).
  • 5K and 10K medals  - given in each age division for 1st to 3rd place in both male and female runners.
  • Top Fundraiser- Award given to the top fundraiser for the 5K & 10K, and Kids Fun Run.
  • Team Spirit Award- Presented to the team with the most members.

There is no duplication of awards. Award winners are determined by clock time.

Team challenge

The Team Challenge gets everyone in your organization moving. No matter the speed, teams are an easy way to encourage teamwork and a fun atmosphere among co-workers and your organization!

Team entries are open to corporations, businesses, nonprofit institutions, academic and community organizations that want to rally their organization together for a team event.
Teams must consist of at least five runners from the 5K or 10K category. There is no limit on the number of participants and team members are timed individually. The more, the merrier!

Our event is staffed by Salvation Army Children's Services, the Children's Services Committee, and a special group of dedicated volunteers. Some of the volunteer jobs include: race packet/bib handout, shirt handout, Start/Finish line, water stops, course marshalls, Fun Run helpers, and cheer zones!

We welcome everyone who wishes to help! Whether you have time throughout the year to help with the event planning stages, or availability come race day weekend, please consider volunteering your time to help make our event safe and successful for all our Rock N’ Run participants.
